Pillow Box Treat

I created this as a demo for a recent workshop.  I love making these pillow boxes.  They are so fun and cute. I started by stamping the Distressed Dots background stamp in Melon Manbo ink onto the coordinating card stock.  I used the hostess Tagtastic stamp set for the label that I punched out with the smaller tag punch.  If you adore this tag, you only have until the end of May to get it.  This is a current catalog hostess set and will retire after May 31, 2012.  You can order through me via phone or online at my web store.  If you have any questions, just let me know.  Happy Stamping!!

Baby Card

A dear friend of mine had a baby a couple of days ago and I wanted to send a nice card along with her baby gift.  I know that one of these stamp sets are retired, but you could find a newer set to replace it with and it will be just fine.

I did some marker coloring and paper piecing on this card.  I stamped the woman image onto the card front in Early Espresso ink.  I then stamped it again onto a scratch sheet of paper in Pretty in Pink.  I cut out the dress and layered it onto the woman image.  With the greeting, I colored it with markers.  I had to ink the phrase twice in Pretty in Pink to get it dark enough to show.  With the help of my Stamp-a-ma-jig, it was easy!!!  Thanks for looking!
