Something Sweet Valentine Card 2
For this card, I kept the same design as my last card except I wanted to use the sweet treat cup with it. I used a Melon Mambo card base, Pink Pirouette for the layer, and Whisper White to stamp on. I used Melon Mambo to ink up the machine.
I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig a great deal in lining all the stamps up just right. I then used the small heart punch and added several of the punched hearts to the sweet treat cup. I finished off the card with a sentiment from the new P.S. I Love You set and some Pretty in Pink satin ribbon. If you have any questions, please let me know! Thanks!

Something Sweet Valentine Card 1
I wanted to pull out this Something Sweet stamp set and do a Valentine's card with it. I used this same layout on a card last year and I really liked how it looked. I used Crystal Effects over the globe part to give it the 'glass' effect. This set is so fun to use! Check back next week for a card with the same design but using the sweet treat cups! Thanks for looking!!

Valentine's Day Goodies
I found these Sweettarts candy hearts and I knew that the Stampin' Up! 1"X 8" cello bags would be perfect for these treats. I was able to get twelve hearts into each bag and it still left me with enough room at the top to tie a pretty bow.
For the tag, I used the new framelits-labels dies from the Occasions mini album. I love these. They are so fun to use! I cut the label out with Whisper White card stock. I then used the large heart punch and punched a heart out of Pretty in Pink card stock. I stamped the "Happy Valentine's Day" sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set in Real Red ink. I used my two favorite punches to layer together. I punched the sentiment out with the Word Window punch and then layered it onto the Modern Label punch.
I used my Crop-a-Dile to punch two holes towards the top of the label and used some Real Red grosgrain ribbon to tie it all together. I bought two rolls of this ribbon off the Clearance Rack a couple of weeks ago during the Clearance Rack Blitz promotion. Check the rack often for new deals. Click HERE to visit the clearance rack!
Happy Stamping!!

Letterpress Valentine's Day Card
I bought this letterpress plate last year when it came out the Occasions Mini catalog. I was really excited to use it. At the time, I didn't have a Big Shot machine and the letterpress plates did not work really well in the cuttlebug machine at all. Needless to say I didn't do much with it last year at all.
Now that I have my Big Shot machine, it works so much better!!!! If you need a big shot machine just let me know and I know just the place you can get one!!!
I started by inking up the Lots of Love letterpress plate with Chocolate Chip Craft ink. I ran it through the Big Shot machine on watercolor paper. I then sponged the whole paper with Crumb Cake ink.
I did the marker to stamp technique to ink up the strawberry stamp from the P.S. I Love You stamp set. I cut it out and then laid it on top of the Very Vanilla layer. I also stamped the heart from the same stamp set and punched it out with the large heart punch. I stamped the sentiment from the same set on the heart and then also on a scrap of vanilla paper and used the 3/4" circle punch. I used the pinking hearts border punch on Real Red card stock. I layerd it all together onto a Real Red card base.
If you have any questions, please let me know!!

Valentine's Day Cards
I love this girl stamp. She is from the Greeting Card Kids set. I colored her on one image with water color crayons and the other with water color pencils.
In the card above I used the water color crayons. I used water color paper and it makes all the difference when trying to get nice, vibrant colored images.
On this card I used the water color pencils. It's not as vibrant as the crayons, but the color moves a bit better. I did use the aqua painter with both images and I usually like to use blender pens with the water color crayons.
The base layers are the same for both cards and I used lots of goodies from the Occasions mini. I used Whisper White and embossed the bottom of the panel with the adorning accents heart folder. I used the labels framelits dies to matte the focal image. I did 3 score lines above the hearts for a little more interest.

Ink: Stazon-Jet Black, Pretty in Pink, Real Red

Valentine Cards
When I saw this new set in the Occasions Mini Catalog, I knew i had to have it. It is so cute and was super fun to play with. I created three versions of the card and decided on the poppy version for my monthly stamp club swaps.
I started with a 4 1/2" square card. I cut my layers 1/4" shorter from that. I stamped all card bases with En Francais background stamp. (some in Pretty in Pink and some in Pure Poppy)I stamped the heart rows from top to bottom: Real Red, Melon Mambo, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink.
For the card above, I created the base layer out of Pretty in Pink and I sponged the edges with the same ink. I also created my own Pretty in Pink color spritz. I put several drops of Pretty in Pink re-inker into a spray bottle with some water and sprayed some Very Vanillia seam binding. I crinkled it as I dried it with the heat tool.
For the card above, the base layer is Pure Poppy and I used the Pure Poppy twill ribbon.
On the card above, I used Regal Rose base layer and Real Red Satin Ribbon. On this card I did not punch out each heart. I stamped them directly onto the white layer.
For the first two cards I used the small heart punch and punched out each heart. I then popped them up onto dimensionals and lined them up on the card.
If you have any questions, please let me know! Thanks for looking!!
